Initial 6 month secondment - possible extension
The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Lawyer (Legislation Drafter) for an initial 6 month secondment to support the Legal Division within a high profile Commonwealth Department.
This position is for a candidate with significant experience in drafting legislation and legislative instruments that will be subject to Ministerial determination.
The Responsibilities
Theposition requires the successful candidate work closely with the broader teamto:
- drafting of subordinate instruments for a Commonwealth act and regulations; and
- setting out the methodology for reporting and calculations within the related scheme.
The Requirements
Legal qualifications and a current practicing certificate are essential.
A Baseline clearance would be highly regarded.
